National Night Out August 2 at park

POMEROY–National Night Out, sponsored and promoted locally by the Garfield County Sheriff’s department, is coming to the City Park here on August 2 at 5-8 p.m.

National Night Out is for the whole community to come together to interact with our local law enforcement, medical community, mental health assets, and neighbors. There will be food, booths, games, music and prizes offered through the evening.

This special event was started to get the community and law enforcement together in order to develop and meaningful working relationship. It is also a time to inform the public of new innovations, programs, resources to help with a need, and develop stronger relationships.
