PSD 2022-2023 budget, several hires approved

POMEROY–The Pomeroy School District (PSD) board of directors approved hires and passed the 2022-2023 budget at their meeting on July 26.

The board approved recommendations to hire Kyle Kimble as athletic director for football, Jr. High girls’ volleyball, baseball, softball and golf; and Shari Stratton, Trisha Webley, Sarah Thompson, and Danyle Thomas as Title 1/Language Assistance Program/Special Education paraprofessionals for the 2022-2023 school year.

The board passed resolution 308, PSD’s 2022-2023 budget, containing an increase to both the certified and classified salary scales.

The 2022-2023 school year fuel bid from Four Star Supply for $170,716.13 was accepted. The bid includes fuel for PSD buses and cars, heating fuel for the High School Gym, and diesel for the mower.
