POMEROY–The Eastern Washington Agricultural Museum (EWAM) plan a work day on September 12 at 10 a.m., for making space for new items, especially in building No. 2; grants possibilities; and other business.
The EWAM discussed a plan to organize the museum buildings, especially No. 2, to provide more space for new items such as the new motors and recently acquired are photographs from Alynda Benson, in addition to creating better overall flow. A work day to evaluate displays and plan relocation is set for September 12 at 10 a.m.
It was also discussed that there might be a grant possibility through the Fair Board for paving the museum parking area. More information to come.
In other business, two new donations amounting to $121 were made; payments to Meyers Hardware, and tractor parts were approved. Gary Cole and Krey Miller will continue to complete requirements to fully certify steam engine.
