City Council approves inter-fund loan

POMEROY–The Pomeroy City Council approved an inter-fund loan and a street closure request at their meeting on September 6.

The council approved a loan from the city’s solid waste fund to the sewer fund for $9,900. The loan is to cover wastewater treatment service from S&J Environmental through the end of 2022, approved at the August 9 meeting. The loan will be repaid to solid waste fund with interest.

The Chamber of Commerce sent a thank you note for a donation to the

signage project.
