POMEROY––The Junior High Pirate B Squad hosted Colton on October 3 and won 22-11.
Due to low turnout by Colton, only one B game was played.
“I was very proud of the way our girls worked together and got the job done,” said Coach Jennifer Maves. Before the game, their goals were to be aggressive and shoot the ball more. There were multiple steals throughout the game. They definitely met and exceeded their team goals for the game. I am impressed with how much they have improved so far this season.”
Four Pomeroy players scored four: Ariah Bingman, Camryn Claassen, Hollie Van Vogt and Reagan McKeirnan. Scoring two were Giselle Morfin, Carilin Morfin and Kiara Marquez. Also playiner were Kennedy Cannon, RaeLynn Nagle and Molly Warren.
