Pomeroy's Lady Pirates are state bound after battling back from a second-round loss to Libery Christian to defeat DeSales and St. John/Endicott/LaCrosse in a grueling five-set match where the Lady Bucs rallied after a devastaing third-set loss to win the match and a state berth. Pomeroy opens state play Thursday, November 10 at the Yakima SunDome. Pirate Football also won its game against SJEL to reach the state bracket and travels to Wellpinit on Saturday, November 12 for a 1 p.m. kick off.
