Annual "50 Cent Sale"

POMEROY–The annual “50¢ Christmas Sale” is planned at the United Methodist Church on Saturday, December 3 at 9–11 a.m.

The much anticipated “50¢ Christmas Sale” at the Pomeroy Methodist Church on 796 Columbia St, 8th Street entrance, will help mark off much of your holiday shopping list.

This year, as in the past, children shop first from 9–9:30 a.m., with free wrapping of each precious gift. The Fireside is open and available to adults who are waiting for their shopping time at 9:30-10:30 a.m. During the last half hour, 10:30–11 a.m., items are priced $1 a bag.

New and gently used items are welcome for the sale as well as gift bags which will help the wrapping process. The Church is open for those who wish to donate at the 8th Street door on Wednesday and Thursday, December 1 and 2 at 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

In addition, volunteers are needed for collecting and displaying items to be sold as well as helping children shop and wrap their gifts.
