POMEROY–The Garfield County board of commissioners (BOCC) passed a resolution to certify levies and signed credit card applications at their meeting on November 28.
Resolution 2022-29 certifies levies from taxing districts that are coextensive with Garfield County. The levies are: $13,463.19 for the Mental Health Fund; $189,915.17 for the City of Pomeroy; $207,812.74 for the Garfield County Port District; $467,010.92 for the Garfield County Fire District; $226,085.74 for the Garfield County Public Hospital District; $1,080,000 for Pomeroy School District No.110; and $586,000 for Pomeroy School District No.110 Bond.
The commissioners also approved applications for the use of county credit cards. The cards will be used according to the county's policy approved earlier this year.
The Employees' Group negotiation offer presented at last week's meeting is still being considered by the board, and budget numbers are still being discussed.
