POMEROY–The annual Pomeroy Gun Club Sausage Shoot fundraiser will take place at the clubhouse on Sunday December 11 at 8:30 a.m.
This event is the Pomeroy Gun Club's biggest fundraiser which will fund our ability to keep shooting the rest of the year at as low in cost as possible. Featured shoots are Trap singles, Buddy Shoots, and Annie Oakley's Rifle events, Running Deer, various targets, and inside games for non-shooters. Lunch is available on the grounds at the Pataha Range, 38 Gun Club Rd.
The Gun Club will prepare for the event by holding a Cleanup Day at the clubhouse on Sunday December 4, starting at 10 a.m. We will need all hands-on deck, plus more, on Sausage Making Friday, December 9 at Travis Ledgerwood's Shop on Ledgerwood Road at 7 a.m. The next day will be followed by Sausage Wrapping Saturday at the clubhouse on December 10 at 8 a.m. Both are BIG job days and all help is needed and appreciated.
We will need plenty of volunteers to help with pulling, scoring, and taking care of the general operation of the shoot for our annual Pomeroy Gun Club Sausage Shoot on Sunday December 11 at 7 a.m. (shoot begins at 8:30 a.m.).
The 10-week shoot will start January 7, for Junior Shooters and January 8 for the Senior Club. Same format as last year.
