Two of the stars of the 2022 Starlight Parade were those famous Toy Story™ characters, Woody and Buzz Lightyear, were among the crowd favorites when the annual extravaganza rolled down Main Street last Saturday, ringing in the Christmas season in Pomeroy and Garfield County.
POMEROY–The Christmas parade lit up Main Street on Saturday, November 26, with cheer and lights. The floats featured Santa and his reindeer, as well as the Grinch, Buzz and Woody, the Pomeroy FCCLA, Garfield County Livestock 4-H Beef, equipment from the Eastern Washington Agricultural Museum, and emergency vehicles from the Garfield County Sheriff's Office, Garfield County Fire District No. 1, and the United States Forest Service with their lights flashing and sirens calling.
Many Pomeroy families braved the cold weather to enjoy it, as well as patronize some of Main Street's stores before and after the parade.
