POMEROY–Puget Sound Energy's senior wind resources advisor Anne Walsh presented a check for a $5,000 donation to the City of Pomeroy's Park project on December 27. The donation was facilitated by Pomeroy Community Center, represented at the presentation by Lisa Lund. The money will be used to purchase project materials for the tennis court retrofitting project at the Pomeroy City Park. In a letter to Pomeroy Community Center Walsh stated "Puget Sound Energy stands committed to the work of the City of Pomeroy to improve the city park tennis courts and PSE greatly appreciates the Pomeroy Community Center's assistance in facilitating a donation to the City Park Improvement Project for material purchases."
