POMEROY–The Garfield County Hospital District Board of Commissioners reapproved the reappointment of Josh Mayfield, discussed the vaccine schedule at the Pomeroy Medical Clinic, and approved a resolution to surplus IV pumps at their meeting on February 6.
Josh Mayfield has been reappointed as a provider for the Garfield County Memorial Hospital, upon the recommendation of the medical staff.
Covid-19 vaccines are available from the Pomeroy Medical Clinic on the third Thursday of every month. The patient numbers receiving the vaccines have been low, and are expected to remain so until fall, when a round of booster vaccines are expected.
The board also approved resolution 23-02 to surplus five Plum A intravenous pumps and poles. The pumps and poles are no longer needed, due to new IV pumps installed last week.
