Caruso is fifth at Walla Walla Invitational

WALLA WALLA–Pomeroy senior Chase Caruso shot a 92 at the Walla Walla High School Invitational golf match March 15, finishing in fifth place among 25 girls from some of the biggest schools in Washington and Oregon.

Brady Bott, also a senior, came in at 90 and in the middle of the pack of 23 boys.

Sophomore Kiersten Bartels finished at 126.

"The conditions were not very pleasant at Veterans Memorial Golf Club," commented Head Coach Al Damron, "with cold, windy and cloudy weather.

"All in all I was very pleased with the results for our first competition of the year," he added.

Pomeroy Golf will next visit Walla Walla's Wine Valley Golf Club on Wednesday, March 22.
