POMEROY-The Garfield County Hospital District board of commissioners discussed the electrical project and passed three resolutions at their meeting on May 1.
The bidding for the construction of the electrical project is on schedule to go out in early June. In the meantime, materials have begun to arrive at the Garfield County Memorial Hospital. A 15,000 lb. fuel tank is expected to arrive within the next few weeks. It will be stored by the Puget Sound Energy building until it is placed in the Hospital.
The commissioners passed resolution 23-04, adopting a fee schedule for public record requests, as well as resolution 23-05, which authorizes the sale of a Fire Guard fuel tank worth $2,500 and a Miller tilt deck trailer worth $3,000. Also passed was resolution 23-06, transferring the total amount of HUGS funds to the Blue Mountain Community Foundation's stewardship.
