POMEROY-The Port of Garfield County discussed the Pataha fiber internet and received a grant at their meeting on May 2.
Drops, the materials to connect homes to the fiber internet line in Pataha, will be provided by the Port for the next six months, or until the supply runs out.
A wellness grant received from Washington Counties Insurance Fund, the Port's insurance provider, in the amount of $900 will be used to purchase a year's subscription to a fitness software that will be used by Port employees along with a previously-purchased treadmill.
