Pomeroy High School Class of 2023 to graduate 17 Saturday

POMEROY–The 2023 Senior Class will soon take their final stroll through the doors of the gymnasium where they are to be solemnly seated, honoring their final day as Pomeroy High School Students at the 132nd Commencement Ceremony on June 3 at 2:30 p.m.

Graduation will begin with the seniors entering to Pomp and Circumstance by Edward Elgar, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance given by ASB President Jillian Herres. The Welcome will be given by Senior Class President Kendall Dixon

The Salutatorian address will be delivered by Chase Caruso. The principal's message and awards given by High School Principal Dan Wendt will be followed by the Valedictorian Address presented by Katie Boyer.

A presentation of scholarships presented by PHS Counselor Fred Knebel, then the Senior Class Advisor Toddette McGreevy will show the compilation video.

Superintendent will then certify the senior class; then class roll will be taken by Toddette McGreevy. Then, Allison McKeirnan, School Board Rep. Geremy Nelson, Kyle Pearson will award diplomas.

A moment will be taken for those who wish to take a picture of the class of 2023 followed by a class response.

The turning of the tassels, and recessional is then followed by a reception gathering outside the gym.

Members of the class include Tyler Bagby, Sidney Bales, Brady Bott, Katie Boyer, Chase Caruso, Kendall Dixon, Braedon Fruh, Jadence Gingerich, Jillian Herres, Trevin Kimble, Samuel Lamb, Brodie Magill, KayLee Schmidt, Jayden Slusser, Rilee Thompson, Trevin Walton and Christian Zaval.
