Seniors honored at FFA award banquet

POMEROY-The local FFA Chapter held their annual awards banquet on June 1. Members received recognition for various projects including livestock raising and showing, competition in career training events, and chapter involvement. Outstanding awards were given by grade: Senior to Kendall Dixon; Junior to Stacia Bowen; Sophomore to Izzy Field; and Freshman to Levi Henderson. The Advisor’s Award was presented to Carolina Morfin.

The 2023 FFA seniors are Braedon Fruh, KayLee Schmidt, Kendall Dixon, Trevin Walton, Katie Boyer, Tyler Bagby, Chase Caruso, Jayden Slusser, Brodie Magill, Trevin Kimble, Jillian Herres, and Jadence Gingerich. At the banquet the 2023-2024 chapter officers were announced, including Stacia Bowen, Izzy Field, Oliver Severs, Boone Schmidt, Natalia Larios, and Hannah Bagby.
