What's New at School?

DAYTON–A Swine Showing Clinic led by Becky Tetrick and Cara Shepherd is planned at the Columbia County Fairgrounds on Saturday, July 29 at 9-11 a.m.

Fair season is right around the corner, and many 4-H and FFA livestock exhibitors are working hard in caring for their show animals. To help exhibitors improve their skills and techniques in showmanship, hair, skin, and feeding. Tetrick and Shepherd will provide some tricks of the trade that they have picked up participating in multiple fairs or shows.

Becky Tetrick and her family are successful swine breeders in Pomeroy, and raise show pigs. Cara Shepherd is from Prosser and a feed representative for 4K Feed Solutions.

The coordinators for this clinic are Emmalee Cole and Wyntr McCauley. All ages, clubs, and counties are welcome.
