BEW collects school supplies

POMEROY–Bank of Eastern Washington (BEW) school supply collection program has kicked off at the local branch here through Monday, August 21.A drawing will be held August 24.

The 2023-24 school year will begin August 24. To help students with needed supplies, the BEW is collecting school supplies for local elementary pupils at its Pomeroy branch through August 21, then distributed to local schools in August.

“If you would like to help, please drop your school supply donations at the Pomeroy branch of Bank of Eastern Washington,” says Becky Kindle, Chief Operating Officer.

The branch will feature a drawing for several backpacks filled with supplies for a local student. Community members with an elementary school student are encouraged to stop in and fill out a ticket for the student. The drawing will be held on August 24 at the Pomeroy branch.
