Free food extended

POMEROY–The 2nd Harvest Mobile Market has extended monthly, distribution dates at the First Christian Church, 310 S. 8th St. location, through March of next year.

Back to school is around the corner and the 2nd Harvest Mobile Market, sponsored by Garfield County Public Health and Southeast Washington Alliance for Health, have extended free food distribution opportunities through March, omitting December, of next year.

Families finding themselves with a shortfall by the end of the month can receive free food without appointment or documentation on August 1, September 7, October 4, November 1, January 10, and March 6, at the 310 S. 8th St. location between the hours of 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. If using one vehicle, up to three families are allowed to pick up food.
