PULLMAN–The 4-H Meats Judging team from Garfield County competed in the state 4-H meat judging event at Washington State University last Saturday, August 12, took first and second place.
Seven members of the Garfield County meats judging team competed in the junior division (ages 8-14), They were divided into two groups: Team 1 and Team 2;
Competitors followed by individual placing on Team 1, which took first place in the Junior Division were Ladd Baser, 1st; Nolan Newberg, 2nd, Tyler Dixon, 3rd; and Jack Baser, 4th. Team 2 members and coming second in the Junior Division are Judson Hall placing individually in eighth place, Kendyl Tetrick, and Rory McKeirnan.
