Allison McKeirnan
My name is Allison McKeirnan and I am currently a school board director for the Pomeroy School District 110. I was born and raised in a rural town in southwestern Montana. It was there, in Dillon that I learned the value of growing up in a small, close-knit community. My experience allowed me to establish strong roots seeded in family values, hard work, and loyalty.
I attended college at Gonzaga University where I earned a bachelor's degree in science in nursing. I met my husband; Bryan at GU and we started our life together in Spokane. We established our forever home in Pomeroy in 2012 when Bryan was offered a partnership in the family farm.
We have been blessed with three beautiful children; Braxton (14), a freshman, Nataly (12), a sixth grader and Madelyn (6), who is in first grade. I am currently working part time in aesthetics, which has allowed me to actively raise, volunteer as needed, and follow (or chase) our kids around in their various school activities. Over the past 19 years as an RN, I have worked diversly in family practice, surgery center and hospital settings. I also spent 10 years as a pediatric oncology nurse at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.
I feel very blessed to be a part of the Pomeroy community. I care deeply about education and feel that the Pomeroy School District offers the very best for not only my children, but for yours as well. I remain active in the community, volunteering on our local Swim Team board and as an assistant coach to my daughter's basketball team. In addition, as a school board director over the past several years, I have and will continue to be diligent, hardworking and to honor the values that I hold close, while making decisions with all our children's best interests at heart.
