POMEROY–The Garfield County Transportation Authority (CTA) discussed the fate of the 2015 Ford Transit van that was listed as surplus several months ago, amended a Washington State Department of Transportation grant, and adopted a hazard mitigation plan at their meeting on November 20.
After two winners failed to respond, the 2015 Ford Transit van was relisted and has been sold for $18,200. The paperwork has been completed and the new owner has picked up the van. The van was sold for $1,100 more than the previous listing.
The CTA passed an amendment to a grant from WSDOT, lowering a match from 20% to 5%. Also passed was the adoption of the hazard mitigation plan drafted by Garfield County's emergency management department. The CTA held a public hearing regarding the 2024 budget that received no comment. The budget will be finalized and passed at their next meeting on December 18.
