Pomeroy Gun Club gearing up for Camas Prairie 10-week shoot

POMEROY–The Pomeroy Gun Club will once again be participating in the Camas Prairie 10-week competition with 21 other Clubs around the Pacific Northwest this year. The shoot will start officially on January 13 for Juniors and January 14 for the Senior members and will run for the ten consecutive weeks.

The shoot will culminate with the Camas Prairie Handicap at Walla Walla Gun Club on the weekend following the tenth week of local completion, March 22 -24.

The Club is well prepared to provide targets and ammunition for the Junior competitors again this year, for information contact Kenny Bott in Pomeroy or Tracy Hanger in Dayton.

Kids under 14 should be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult. Parents need to sign a permission slip that will be available at the Club on January 13.

There will be a mandatory safety meeting for youth shooters on January 13 at 8 a.m. Yearly dues for youth and adult participants are due.
