The extreme cold temperatures of the past week or so has apparently pushed herds of mule deer out of the uplands an into local neighborhoods for the time being. This cluster of mulies was spotted in the front yard of the residence at 190 20th Street, browsing amid a stoic family of deer, Americanus yardartus, who keep alert watch on the street from under a blanket of snow.
