POMEROY–Innovia Foundation will partner with the Pomeroy Spinners and Twisted Wire Coffee to bring the Annual Easter Egg Hunt to the community at the Crystal Springs Golf Course and Lybecker Football Field on March 30 at 3 p.m. The award comes in the form of refreshments for those attending the event, and an eventual kitchen remodel.
As a volunteer-driven service organization, the Pomeroy Spinners has held and promoted community events since the 1970s, highlighting needs, community services, and fundraise for regional projects and scholarships. The organization also sponsors other events for participants of Garfield County and beyond, including the Broomstick Pool Tournament, a free annual community Thanksgiving and the community Easter Egg Hunt.
There are approximately 4,500 Easter eggs making up this year's Easter Egg Hunt, an event filled with joy and excitement for children aged infant to 12. The course will involve Lybecker Football Field for ages 0-2, and the golf course for all other age groups at 30-minute increments for start times based on age. (0-2; 3-5; 6-8; and 9-12). In addition, Innovia Foundation will partner with Twisted Wire Coffee in Pomeroy to provide free cookies, hot chocolate, and coffee for all attendees.
In addition to providing free refreshments at the event, Innovia Foundation will award the Spinners a grant for the Spinners Hall community kitchen remodel. This investment is part of a series of events and activities Innovia is gifting to communities across Eastern Washington and North Idaho in celebration of the Foundation's 50th Anniversary in 2024.
