Maninder Singh and Paramjid Kaur have opened Gas 'n' Go, along with their partner Neil Kumar who is not pictured. Singh and Kaur pledge to work hard and give 100% to serve Pomeroy.
POMEROY-Gas 'n' Go, the convenience store on the west end of Pomeroy, has opened for business. Maninder Singh, Paramjid Kaur, and Neil Kumar-all relatives-have partnered to open the store that was purchased from Kumar's uncle. Their family also has stores in the Tri-Cities and in Grandview. New fuel pumps are on order and they are still waiting on food and liquor licenses, but they currently offer pre-packaged food and drinks for sale.
"Right now we need community support," Kumar said. "We want to work hard for the community and give 100%, but we need support." Kumar stated Gas 'n' Go may open 24 hours a day if there is enough business.
