Kendra Stallcop creates edible works of art

POMEROY-Kendra Stallcop has launched Grazy K's, a grazing table and charcuterie board business that takes meat, cheese, fruits and vegetables and turns them into edible works of art. "If you love something and you're passionate about it, but you never let people know, then no one will," Stallcop said. "Don't be shy, and go for it."

Stallcop began creating grazing tables for her family and friends three years ago. "At the time, I didn't know what it was," she said. She discovered that she loved to make them, and at the end of March she decided to make it a business. "I like getting to be creative, that it can be whatever I imagine it to be. It's a good feeling," Stallcop said. Grazy K's menu has a standard option of meat and cheese, as well as a custom order option. Stallcop has catered to events such as birthday parties, graduation parties, and weddings.

Stallcop has lived in Pomeroy for 11 years and works as the secretary at Pomeroy High School. She met her husband, Aaron Stallcop, at the Garfield County Fair 12 years ago and they have four children-Byron, Bennett, Brynlee, and Beaudry.
