Tayn Kendrick hired as PHS Principal

POMEROY-The School District (PSD) Board of Directors hired a principal and a temporary softball coach, accepted Sandy Anderson’s retirement, and discussed an art auction according to the minutes of their April 30 meeting.

The board hired Tayn Kendrick as the Jr/Sr. High School Principal, for the 2024-25 school year. They also hired Jessica Nelson to coach softball while current coach Lexi Beale is on maternity leave.

The board also discussed an art auction that will be held on May 29. The auction will feature pieces of art created by Haley Thomas’s students.
