Spokane Junior Livestock Show a success for both Dayton and Pomeroy 4-H and FFA exhibitors

DAYTON and POMEROY–Several 4-H and FFA members competed at the Jr. Livestock Show of Spokane the first week of May.

Delaynee Cox of Dayton, wins Reserve Champion in showmanship, and Jaycee Cox is with her white calf winning the FFA Grand Champion Prospect Steer.

Ellyson Hall took third place 4-H Market Lamb, a blue ribbon with her Market Steer, and a purple ribbon in Showmanship. She placed 13th high Individual Junior Livestock Judge, and 4th high Junior Oral Reasons.

Judson Hall receives 15th place and 17th place overall Market Steers, and purple ribbons in Showmanship. He was the 3rd high Junior meats judge, and 11th high Intermediate oral reasons.

Graci Turner receives blues in Classification with each of her two lambs, and a blue in Fitting and Showing.

Pomeroy FFA awards include the 2024 Seabeck award winners for the most outstanding FFA chapter at the Jr. Livestock Show of Spokane; Grayson Slaybaugh Grand Champion Market Steer; Colby Ledgerwood Grand Champion Market Heifer; and Colby Ledgerwood Reserve Champion Jr./Sr. Fitting and Showing.

The 4-H and FFA participates extend their gratitude to all the buyers, supporters, and volunteer helpers in making each project a success and the show possible.
