POMEROY–The local branch of Four Star Supply has enlarged its service to include a tire shop and service center in the garage behind the Napa store.
The new tire and service center has two new top-of-the-line lifts and an aligner, as well as a Hunter Hawkeye computer system. The aligner can hold up to 18,000 pounds with a 21-foot-long deck, and can hold a 550 pickup.
"This is our favorite," Pomeroy branch manager Bill Fischer said. The center staff includes mechanics Christopher Steynor and Kyle Wiggins.
The center is stocking trailer tires and common brands and sizes, and can order most un-stocked tires in just a few days. "We're excited to add on, to make better use of what we have here, and to provide service," said Kevin McDonnell, Four Star Supply General Manager. "We decided to do it because we saw the need in the community," McDonnell said.
Metal will still be sold, but the inventory has been cut back due to space reallocation. The process of redoing the shop began at the first of the year. The center held an open house at Four Star Supply's customer appreciation day on May 17.
