Pomeroy High School Commencement Saturday

POMEROY––Eighteen members of the Pomeroy High School Class of 2024 are set to go through Commencement Exercises in the school gymnasium at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, June 1.

Graduation speakers during this 133rd graduation ceremony will include Valedictorian Stacia Bowen and Salutatorian Hannah Bagby.

Senior Class President Trace Roberts will lead the Pledge of Allegiance and give the welcome to guests, family, faculty and friends of the graduating Pirates.

Principal Rachel Gwinn will speak and present awards, and P.H.S. Counselor Fred Knebel will present scholarships to Class of 2024 recipients. A video presentation has been put together by Class Advisor Toddette McGreevy.

Superintendent Gwinn will announce that the Class of 2024 has met certification requirements outlined by the State of Washington and Advisor McGreevy will call the roll of graduates.

Diplomas will be awarded by Mrs. Allison McKeirnan, Mr. Geremy Nelson and Mr. Kyle Pearson, all representatives of the Pomeroy School District Board of Directors.

Graduating members include Jaycee Joene Ames, Natalia Larios Arteaga, Hannah Gracie Bagby, Stacia Clare Bowen, Haliee-Mae Anne Brewer, Nicholas Brandon Bryson, Cash Douglas Copher, Walker Lonny Flynn, Natalie Jean Fuchs, Khloe Jayden Gerking, Rylan Christopher Hays-Carnahan, Laynee Ella Herres, Benjamin Riley Kepner, Trace Michael Roberts, Oliver Cyrus Severs, Tyler Scott Slaybaugh, David John Miranda Tejero and Emilee Dean Warren.
