POMEROY–The Eastern Washington Agricultural Museum (EWAM) is hosting the 1st Annual Gas Engine Show and Swap Meet at the Garfield County Fairgrounds on Saturday, June 29 at 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday, June 30 at 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Exhibitors may enter the Gas Engine Show and Swap Meet free of charge. Set up is on Friday and there will be help available for unloading equipment such as a fork lift. Dry camping is available and overnighters, exhibitors, and participants can purchase breakfast, lunch, and dinner from R & B BBQ of Dayton.
"We are hoping to have a good turnout for this swap meet," said Jay Frank EWAM Secretary. "We also hope people understand that this is not a flea market type of swap meet. It is an event for people to find things like old engines, tractors, and antique car parts. Swap means one can trade a part for a part."
This first swap meet is sponsored by Eastern Washington Agricultural Museum, Puget Sound Energy, Pomeroy Food Center, Pomeroy Grain Growers, Krouse Machine Shop, and Four Star Supply.
For more information email [email protected] or contact Jay at 509-780-1250 or Roy Wold at 509-780-1250.
EWAM is a non-profit organization, and will happily accept donations of funds, antique equipment, and volunteer effort.
