Pirate Partners Youth Coalition fundraiser on

POMEROY–Pirate Partners Youth Coalition is raising money to provide fun, safe, educational, inclusive, and drug free events for teens this upcoming school year that promote mental health and positive school culture.

The Pirate Partners Youth Coalition is a new program that started in 2022 as a Senior Project to spread awareness of youth drug and alcohol prevention and mental health promotion at Pomeroy Jr. Sr. High School. The Pirate Partners host Red Ribbon Week every year, have positive events throughout the school year such as cookie decorating and paint nights, and work to improve school culture and climate.

Pirate Partners is funded through the Pomeroy Partners Coalition, and donations from community members. Pomeroy Partners has grants cover the costs of staff and advisors, transportation & lodging to local and national prevention conferences, and supplies. However, our grants cannot cover things like food or entertainment. We are seeking donations to cover costs for these activities that the kids like to do each year. Our events are inclusive to all students, raise awareness of mental health, and promote healthy substance-free lifestyles.

Whether you would like to donate to support a specific activity, or just donate towards our program, any support is greatly appreciated.
