Fourteen 2nd-8th graders participated in the first Pirate Youth Golf Camp held at the Crystal Springs Golf Course last weekend. POMEROY–The first Pirate Youth Golf Camp was held at Crystal Springs Golf Course for 14 young golfers on Jun 22 and 29.
The Youth Golf Camp had 14 2nd-8th grade players who learned basic skills and safety for two hours each day. Pirate head coach Al Damron organized and headed the staff of Tom Ruchert, John Eaton, and Scott Young.
"These kids showed some real potential as golfers and everyone had a real positive experience," said Damron.
