Free sports physicals

POMEROY–The Garfield County Hospital District (GCHD) offer a free sports physical clinic for local students at the Pomeroy Medical Clinic on August 8 and 15.

Parents are urged to schedule their student athlete for their free sports physical on either available Thursdays between 2-6 p.m.

"These are by appointment only," said GCHD spokesperson. "No late registrants will be accepted. All sports physicals are free to students from Pomeroy Schools. Please bring the completed physical form with you. If you do not have a form, they are available at the clinic the day of scheduled appointment.

For a well-child exam, schedule an appointment during regular clinic hours. The Medical Clinic is located at 446 Pataha St., and the telephone number is 509-843-1491.
