Free food distribution set Sept. 11

POMEROY–Mobile Market free food distribution is coming to the area at the First Christian Church on September 11 from 12-2 p.m.

The 2nd Harvest Mobile Market is coming to Pomeroy with nutritious, delicious food for up to 250 families. There is no appointment or documentation required and is a drive-thru event.

2nd Harvest is an organization that help solve the hunger problem throughout the nation. According to their website, "They are working to improve access to nutritious food, expand economic security, and advocate for policies that make it easier for people to get food they need."
