Two Spokane octogenarians Shirely Grossman and Roz Luther, "are on their remarkable journey to bridge community divides and promote civic engagement through their 'Granny Caravan' seventeen-stop tour across eastern Washington. "We are here to listen and learn," said The Grannies. "What worries you, worries all of us."
POMEROY–The Granny Caravan is coming to the City Park on August 28 from 4-6 p.m.
Come meet with Roz Luther and Shirley Grossman for meaningful conversation about politics, initiatives, policies, and the upcoming general election. They are extending an invitation to every person here because they are worried about the polarization of our society. They want to change the trajectory and bridge that gap.

We used to be able to talk to each other without malice...and truly listen to each other," said the Grannies. "We would love to bring that basic respect for all so we can communicate kindly," said Shirley Grossman.
