Give someone a spiritual tow

The tow rope was laying over the end gate of the pickup, hooked to the hitch below. It had been snowy, slushy, and messy. I wondered if the driver had helped so many stuck people that he simply left the rope hanging, readily available for the next person in need. How many people do we meet every day that need a "tow?"

Discouraged, defeated, depressed and in bewilderment at the problems of life, we are given the opportunity to help lift them! We are recipients of abundant power and life in Christ. We do have the answer to people's problems: Jesus! His love and power are perfectly suited to satisfy the heart's desire of every needy person, including ourselves. He offers Himself to be Savior and Lord to all who place their faith in Him. Our abundance in Christ is an overflowing cup.

We have an unlimited supply of His goodness to share with others. "And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work" 2 Cor. 9:8.

Jesus said: "I have told you these things so that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy may be made full and complete and overflowing. This is My commandment, that you love and unselfishly seek the best for one another, just as I have loved you" Jn.15:11-12

The Lord loves us!
