Golf championship rounds Sept. 29

POMEROY––The Pomeroy Club Championships will begin Sunday, September 29 at the Crystal Springs Golf Course here with a 10:30 a.m. start.

The best Gross score will be Club Champion, and there will be a Senior Champion for golfers 60 years and older, and a Super Seniors Champion for anyone 70 years and older.

There will be prizes for Long Drive, Long Putt, and Closet to the Pin on all Par 3s.

Golfers will draw for starting tee groups.

Play is set up for white tees on the first nine, blue tees on the second nine, with the back number three tee and the ladies' tee on nine. After lunch, the last nine will be in groups based on scores, from the white tees.
