Pre-election Logic and Accuracy tests planned

POMEROY––The Garfield County Auditor's Office Elections Department will be holding its pre-General Election Logic and Accuracy tests on Tuesday, October 8.

This activity tests the tabulation equipment prior to the 2024 General Election on November 5, 2024.

There will be a random check of all ballot-counting equipment on Wednesday, November 6, according to Shanda Wolf, Garfield County Elections Director.

The test session on October 8 is open to invited individuals and is subject to limited availability for observers, Wolf said.

Following the election, the Garfield County Canvassing Board will convene on Tuesday, November 26 to determine the status of provisional or challenged ballots and canvass votes cast and certify the election.
