Pomeroy's number 99 was called quite a few times by veteran announcer John Gates in last Friday's home game at Lybecker Field as senior Pirate quarterback Jett Slusser tore up the turf with a school-record eight touchdowns in the 68-42 win over Garfield-Palouse.
