Correction

In last week’s story regarding Commissioner Larry Ledgerwood’s statement of no confidence in Sheriff Drew Hyer, the quote “You can’t respond” should have been “You can respond,” and it was stated by County Commission Chairman Justin Dixon, not Ledgerwood. Dixon, not Ledgerwood, also said “You don’t have to respond. I know that’s a tough position to put you in.”

The East Washingtonian regrets the error.
