Drug take back event

POMEROY–Garfield County Public Health and the Garfield County Hospital District will sponsor a Drug take back and Wellness Fair on the Courthouse Lawn on October 25 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

This is the community's chance to dispose of expired prescription medications and an opportunity to receive a free medication lock box, Deterra bag and sharps container. In addition, local service departments: Pomeroy Partners, Garfield County Sheriff's Office, Garfield County Public Health, Garfield County Hospital District, Garfield County Fire District No. 1, Garfield County Aging & Disability, Garfield County Transportation, and Quality Behavioral Health will be in site to answer question and inform community members of other service offered throughout the year.
