XC Regionals Friday Nov. 1

COLFAX–Pomeroy Pirate Cross Country athletes Bethany Zimmerman and Kiersten Bartels will compete in the 1B/2B and NEA Regional Cross Country Meet here Friday, November 1.

Bartels set a personal best at the Pomeroy Cross Country Invitational on October 9, finishing third with a 25:46.0 time. Her next best time was 27:42.9 at the 1B/2B League Meet No. 2 at Colfax on Oct. 1.

Zimmerman has run five meets this fall and set a personal record of 26:12.6 at the Pomeroy meet October 9. That mark shaved over two minutes off the 28:29.0 at the Les MacDowell Invitational on Sept. 21.
