The Pirates congratulated one another as the final seconds ticked off the scoreboard and the team advanced to a quarter final contest versus the Naselle Comets next Saturday in South Bend, Wash. The Pirates looked to have a fight on their hands in the early going but Odessa's offense couldn't muster enough juice against the stubborn Buccaneer defense, and the Pirates broke several big plays for points on the scoreboard in the 52-12 State Football Tournament win.
