POMEROY–The traditional Pomeroy Gun Club Sausage shoot is on December 8 this year which is the second Sunday of the month as usual. Since the December 1 is the first Sunday and December 8 is the second, it is just about upon us.
The Early date causes some needs for Travis's shop so we will make our Sausage a day early on Thursday December 5, and we will do the packaging on Friday December 6 at the Club. We need all the help we can muster as usual.
We also need a Cleanup Day on Sunday December 1 at 9 a.m., or after Church if you attend. We will shoot after cleanup if you want to practice. We need to haul Targets and Fire Wood and generally clean up the grounds. Things are in pretty good shape.
It is important to have plenty of help on Sunday the December 8 to run the shoot. This is an important fund raiser for the Club and helps us keep the price of shooting the 10-week league as low as we can afford. Appreciation is given in advance for your help, and we will see you Sunday the December 1 for cleanup and Thursday December 5 at Travis Ledgerwood's shop on Elsesohn Road to make sausage.
