The Pomeroy Gun Club will again participate in the Camas Prairie (CPTA)10-week competition beginning the weekend of January 11–12 continuing until March 16. The Camas Prairie Registered shoot will begin on Friday, March 21 in Walla Walla and RV spots can be reserved starting January 1 for that event. We have an ample supply of shells and targets to supply youth shooters for the 10-week league at no cost.
Juniors will have a safety meeting and sign up on Saturday, January 11 starting at 8 a.m. with shooting to follow. There will be a consent form for Parents to sign on that first day and junior dues for the season are the same rate as last year. Juniors under 14 years of age need to be accompanied by a responsible adult. Contact Ken Bott or Tracy Hanger if you have and questions.
Adult shooters will again shoot on Sunday, January 12 starting at 9 a.m. with the same program as the past couple of years--16 yd. targets that count for the CPTA competition between Clubs, HC for Pomeroy Gun Club awards along with Continentals and Doubles. The Senior Club also has a fair supply of shells for sale.
Hope to see you on January 11 and 12. We will practice on January 5 at 1 p.m. if any shooters are interested.
