The FFA Alumni Auction provides a way for the community to celebrate the New Year together, as well as support local Pomeroy kids. The auction was well attended and included both live and silent sections.

POMEROY-The Pomeroy chapter of the FFA Alumni held its annual New Year's Eve dinner and auction at Spinners Hall December 31.
The auction was well attended and included both live and silent sections. Auction items were donated to the chapter and included handmade quilts, food and beverage baskets, firearms, agricultural services, and more.
The buffet dinner consisted of steak and potatoes, with cheesecake and cookies for dessert. Members of Pomeroy's chapter of the National FFA Organization kept the buffet table stocked and cleared dishes from the tables, as well as assisted in the auction.
The Alumni uses proceeds from the New Year's Eve dinner and auction, as well as their other fundraising activities, to support the Pomeroy FFA chapter by assisting with jacket purchases and event funding, as well as providing scholarships to graduating FFA members.
