Peyton Cannon wrestling in the 190-lb. class, finished second in the Orofino Maniac Invitational, getting pinned in the championship round by a St. Maries wrestler.
OROFINO– The Pirates wrestled in Orofino at the Maniac Invitational. Juniors Peyton Cannon and Levi Bowen led the team with second place finishes. Kole Zimmerman finished third and Jess Winona was fourth.
"The guys continue to wrestle well and got some really good experience today in some tough matches," commented Head Coach Mat Slaybaugh. "We continue to talk about growth as we compete in the non-league competitions and I'm pleased with their progress as we head into the second half of our season."
